In the South French little village (lieu-dit) of Hameau du Lac near Sigean south of Narbonne is the LAC (Lieu d'Art Contemporain) where until 29 September the exhibition"Piet Moget, Espace et Lumière" can be visited. An overview of the in December 2015 deceased artist is to be seen amongst works by befriended artists from his extensive collection.

The LAC is housed in an old double 'Cave Viticole' in which the artist, together with his daughter Layla, since 1991 organized numerous exhibitions of Geer van Velde, Richard Long, Basquiat, Carl Andre, Kieffer, Sol Lewitt, Serra, Erró, Robert Morris, Thomas Ruff, Jan Andriesse, Marlene Dumas and many other artists.

If you are in the neighborhood: this place is definitely worth a 'détour' and if you're still there ... go straight to the nearby port/seaside resort of Port-la-Nouvelle, where on the quayside the beautiful horizon-paintings by Piet Moget originated.

And if you want to relax....visit the beach and/or enjoy delicious coquillages and crustacés on the terrace of the Hotel/Restaurant Le Méditerrannée at the end of the boulevard.
